Acutally, if it says free upgrade to vista premuim, you'll most likely get aero. I agree with jbennet. Don't upgrade for a few months, and before you should upgrade to 2G of RAM. Just wait for them to get the biggest bugs fixed, then upgrade.

Halo 2 for vista will DX10 which is only supported with the nvidia 8800 gpu, which costs a lot, so if you want to play it you'll have to spend at least a grand.

DX10 only works on the 8800 gpu's. that just makes me angry becuase halo 2 for pc will require dx10, and unless you have that card, you won't be able to play it.

I would definetley buy a wired router, meaning no wireless(not a switch), and then just plug in airport. it doesn't have to be fancy, and i'd look at netgear and lynksis routers.
