Re: It's safe enough, but it's not likely to work. If you have an install disk you may be able to do a repair install, but you'd do just as well to do a clean install. Your ME computer will probably run Ubuntu, which would be a considerable improvement over ME. | |

Re: Attitude? He's just explaining that an Anti-Malware app is not an Anti-Virus app. Malware is often called "Spyware" and Anti-Spyware apps don't usually deal with Viruses. Malwarebytes is pretty solid, so it's unlikely it caused your BSOD. | |
