I didn't think it was compatible with Vista. Seeing as it was made before Vista, i don't think it would work on multiplayer.

Have you had any viruses recently? A person came here with a similar problem and it turned out to be virus related. If so do some more scans of your computer.

Just a side thought, do you run a LAN network? If you do, how many computers are on this network. Also what is your CPU Speed as well as the amount of RAM. This could also be caused by a slow CPU speed.

Are you getting any BSOD's (Blue Screens of Death)? If so consult this site: http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm If not, check that your computer can actually run the game by going here: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

Does this gfx card require a power cable to be attached to it? look for an open gap on the gfx card itself where one of the PCI-Express PSU connecters would fit in. Are you getting Blue screens of death when the errors appear? Try cleaning the conenctions on the …

90% of these sort of issues are RAM related, do as Suspishio suggested and boot the computer with 1 RAM stick in each slot, then the other stick in every slot, and see which stick or slot is causing the problem.

Try removing each RAM stick one by one then put them in one by one in each slot to see if it is the RAM or the RAM slot at fault.

Just something to point out, you are aware that when using two different sets of RAM running at different speeds, your computer uses the lower of the two speeds, in your case 333M Hz. In answer to your problem, clean your PC of dust and dirt and also make sure …

If memory is the problem, then your RAM sticks are bad. What you can do is find out what sort of RAM you require and buy some new RAM. The best place i have found for finding what RAM you will require is here This will show you what your …

As long as the graphics card you are looking at is the same as the slot on your motherboard then you can use any Grpahics card you like. Check wether you have AGP or a PCI-Express slot first. Otherwise go for a card that has the greatest onboard Memory.

Well "no signal" on a the monitor would point to either a bad connection, or that the gfx card overheats and the system shuts down. To find out what gfx card you have simply open up the side of your case and look for a card where you plug your …

Check your control panel to see if the virus corrupted the folder options section. In there you should be able to test the speed of the double click that requires you to open folders on your PC. Also do an antivirus scan to make sure it has been totally removed.

Try the detect new hardware in the Control Panel. Also what OS are you running? Some pen-drives that run on win98 require drivers to fully work.

Well for the microchips inside your computer, they can withstand up to +/- 5V. The 12V line is for the other components (fans etc). No load implies 0V in the elctronics world, if nothing was connected to take the current away (to be precise it is actually giving out the …
