It should work fine. All that message really means is that the manufacturer of your TV hasn't paid Microsoft to have their hardware varified!

From a cursory glance at your GMER log your computer is badly infected. You need to follow the instructions in this thread - http://www.daniweb.com/forums/thread134865.html and post ALL the requested logs!

The only time I have seen that problem was with a faulty graphics card. Replacement was the cure!

You say a lot of bad sectors were found, because of that I suspect your hard drive as being the problem!

Open it up and make sure the power and data cables are firmly fitted between your hard drive and motherboard/power supply. You may want to buy and try a new sata cable, they aren't too expensive.

The only way to answer your question is to do further diagnostics on your computer. There are a lot of components within a PC, it only takes one to fail. Do you have and know how to use a digital volt meter?

There should be 4 diagnostic LED's between the front panel audio sockets and the USB sockets. What do they do?

Your screen has developed a fault and will need to be replaced soon! I have seen the same problem a couple of times before.

It's possible that it's a ram incompatability. It's also possible that the PSU isn't up to the job as the AMD Phenom's are rather power hungry beasts. Are you also using a power hungry graphics card?

Norton is most likely the cause as it seems to block things you want working and allow things that you don't want. Has your customer ever used Team Viewer to do what he wants? Google it and try it out and see what you think. I have used Team Viewer …

I would suspect malware! Problem is you have told us absolutely nothing about your PC. What windows version are you using and what protective software have you got?

One thought, does the printer have a network (RJ45) socket on it? If so, connecting it directly to the router would be far easier and printing would be far quicker too!

Are you using a graphics card or built in graphics? Does the motherboard have a system spaeker attached to it?

I doubt that your bios is the root cause of your problem. The first thing I would do is give the computer a good clean and check the condition of the thermal paste between the heatsink and the CPU!

Seeing as it's sata, any sata hard drive will be ok! I'd recommend that you not exceed 500gig as drives bigger than that seem to less reliable! I put a 500 in my lappy some time back and am very happy with it!

From the number of posts I have seen about Vaio's and from working on them, I'd say that the build quality is rather poor for the money they charge for them. Both of you need to get your laptop's looked at by a professional as they obviously have hardware and/or …

Backup and system restore are 2 different things and work in different ways. A backup should contain most if not all files within windows whereas a system restore is more like a "save state"! Have a look at the microsoft website for more info!
