Can you try looking for a reset button that's within the laptop? Some laptops have them and reset the whole bios or also try to remove the main battery of the laptop for around 5min that also may work to reset the BIOS.

Do you hear any POST (Power On Self Test) when you boot up the machine? If not it means your motherboard or a hardware within it has a problem

You could be having a virus call New Pe_Heur virus which clears up your desktop and renders your system useless. The best thing is to get a MINI PE or a UBCD to try and partition and move your data to a safe location then reinstall.
