you need to get your router to forward all port 80 (web) requests to the server. You also need to open the required ports in both your software and hardware firewalls.

Just to add my two cents... I can get Windows 7 RTM (final edition) - (legally) via MSDN Academic Alliance. And yeah, dont use AVG. AVG killed my install of the release candidate of Server 2008.

20 gigs is too small for vista. A clean install of vista uses like 4 to 20gb alone. 40gb+ is the minimum reccomended. Buy a bigger hard drive and reinstall.

what that means is they dont support them , so that if your server breaks, you cant sue them. generally you only get this sort of supportn with actual server boards server 2003 or 2008 will probably run fine on them

Use 8.7 and it will work. Ive got VirusScan enterprise 8.7.0i running on Windows Server 2008 R2 (windows 7 based). 8.7 runs fine. 8.5 does not work on that system.
